What is Embroidery?
What is the average turnaround time for embroidered apparel?
Our standard turn around time is 7 to 10 working days. Since we do all our production in house we can control our timelines better and give you one of the fastest turn times in the industry.
What kind of thread do you use?
While there are a few different types of threads used in the process, two types stand out the most in commercial embroidery – rayon and polyester. Which one is “better” depends mostly upon personal preference and the desired final product. Some prefer the natural shine of rayon, while others prefer the resilient vibrancy of polyester. Regardless of your preference, we aim to provide our customers with as many options as possible – so we offer both.
How big can my design be?
On caps we recommend 2.5 inches in height, but however tall that makes the design. On flats (shirts or bags) we recommend staying with a 5x5 square, which is actually quite large once it's sewn. A standard left crest for a polo or button down would be 3.5 inches wide and then height would be proportional. We can do larger items though like jacket backs and duffles. It's best to give us a call on those items so we can custom taylor a solution for you.
Do you offer tackle twill
Unfortunately we don't offer tackle twill at this time, but we'll be glad to refer you to someone who does. Just give us a ring and we'll get you some info on that.
Will embroidery last a long time?
Embroidery will last as long as the garment under the standard circumstances of wear and tear. Washed and worn in a normal setting, the embroidered logo should last the entire life of the garment.
Can you embroider my logo?
Yes, we can take any file format and have it digitized to work with our machines, on the garment or bag you have chosen. If you don't have a logo, we'll be glad to have our art department put together a custom design for your business or orgainzation.
